Empowering With Economics
The ESS Young Professionals (ESSYP) is a wing under the Economics Society of Singapore (ESS).
Our mission is to empower and create opportunities for youths aged 35 and under to discuss and participate in current economic issues.
For Youths, By Youths
ESSYP is led by students and young professional volunteers who are keen to share their passion of economics through a range of activities including webinars and speaker events.
About the ESS
The Economic Society of Singapore (ESS) was established on July 28, 1956 by the Economics Department of University of Malaya in Singapore (now known as National University of Singapore). Today, ESS is a non-profit organisation, bringing together members from the academia, government and business sector to discuss current economic issues relating to Singapore and the region. ESS publishes the Singapore Economic Review Journal, conducts independent research, and holds conferences and networking sessions.
